On-site registration available starting from 6:00 – 7:30 am on race day, Sunday April 28th

Refund & Transfer Policies

All participant entries are non-refundable.

Transfers will be allowed up to 14 days prior to an event by emailing:  athleteservices@5k9walkrun.com .  After that time entry transfers will not be accommodated.

Atlanta 1 Mile Course Map

 5k

The 5km course is open to all walkers and runners, with or without their furry friends.  The start of the 5K is on Sandy Springs Circle just north of Cliftwood Dr. going south. The course is a pretty, rolling loop with an out and back on Lake Forest Drive and finishing at the Lake Forest Elementary School.

1-Mile

The 1 Mile course is also open to all walkers and runners, with or without their best friends.  The start of the 1-mile course is the same as the 5km - on Sandy Springs Circle just north of Cliftwood Dr. going south.  After the turnaround on Lake Forest Dr., the 1-mile go north to a right turn on Cliftwood Dr. back to the finish at Lake Forest Elementary School.

A chip timed event where you and your pet get finish time credit.  No, your dog won’t wear the timing chip– you’ll still do that– but you’ll share the achievement.

Finisher results by Sportstats will be posted on this page as well as emailed to all participants within 24 hrs of the event.

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

OVERALL 5Km

• 5km Run/Walk NO DOG:  Male and Female  - TOP 3 Overall

• 5km Run/Walk WITH DOG:  Male and Female  - TOP 3 Overall

AGE GROUP AWARDS 5Km (regardless of with or without dog) - TOP 3Male/ Female in each of following age-groups

• 18& Under
• 19-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60-69
• 70+

1-MILE RUN/WALK with or without dog

• TOP 3 Male/ Female Overall

TEAM AWARDS - for 5km ONLY

To be eligible for team awards, teams must have at least 10 members.  Awards will be based on the cumulative time of the 10 fastest athletes on a team.

• 2^nd:   Silver Schnauzer

• 3^rd:   Bronze Bulldog

• MASTIFF award – for the team with the most participants
